Leisure Beach, we’re back at it—and this one matters. After knocking out the woods leading into Bear Creek, it’s time to turn our attention to our canals. We’re teaming up with Keep Pasco Beautiful and working directly with John Fey, their Executive Director, to bring a coordinated Canal Cleanup Day to our community on Saturday, June 6th - perfect timing ahead of World Ocean Day!
How It Works
Volunteers will be assigned a canal
Clean up your canal your way - kayak, jet ski, boat, or from your dock
Want to ride along with someone? Let us know
We need TWO volunteer homes
One on the north side
One on the south side
Each location will need
Easy-access front yard for debris drop-off
Dock access (volunteers may bring debris in by water)
These will be our collection points, and the county will swing by Monday for pickup—clean, efficient, done right.
Supplies? Covered.
Keep Pasco Beautiful is providing gloves, vests, grabbers, and more.
Their only ask? Photos. Lots of them! Let’s show what Leisure Beach can do when we come together!

We gathered more than 60 folks together for our 2026 Spring Party held at The Eagles Club Pavilion. Amazing raffle prizes, grilled food and pot luck sides...not to mention great company.
